Best way to stop mold/mildew from coming back?
caroljoy asked:
We built our house 3 years ago. 1st year we noticed the shower door leaked. So I got some calking, mold/mildrew resistant, and sealed it up. Months later I notice nasty black stuff on the calking. Tried to clean, but it was under that calking. So I removed all of the calking, washed with bleach and let it dry for a week. Re-calked. Months later the mold/mildew is back. GRRRR Removed calking, applied a product designed to remove mold/mildew. Re-calked. 3 months later. It’s back.
Please help!

burn it to the ground.. the whole thing.. just torch it, then with the money from the insurance, you can go to anger management classes.. just relax..
I can relate.
I had a bathroom issue a few years ago too.
I never was able to make it completely stop. i wish I had some good advice for you. For me I just bleached the heck out of it on a regular basis and it minimized the discoloration. Instead of looking black I got it to look brownish and white…
Good luck to you!!
