You have a water problem. You must fix the water problem our no matter what you do the mold will be back. Mold can cause many health problems, do not live with mold. We offer a service which uses ozone to kill the mold on the walls and the spores and mycotoxins in the air. We are enviromentally safe and cost effective. Many people believe bleach will kill the mold but it does not. It just removes the color and drives the roots deeper into the drywall. If you use bleach the mold will come back.

Good luck. in Mich they have had brand new house condemned for black mold. Try a pressure washer and strong bleach solution and get it DRY afterwords if it is, dry wall remove it and replace and run a DE-humidifier 24 / 7 / 365 and it might keep it down.

Is your drywall covering Stone or brick foundation? you may have to use a waterproofing treatment on the stone in that area. Water may be seeping in through the outer wall. Use a diluted bleach solution mixed in a spray bottle to get rid of mold.

You cannot “clean” black mold. you must kill it.

If it is drywall, tear out the infected part, and clean behind it with bleach (1 part bleach – 3 parts water). or some other disinfectant/mold destroying cleaner. Straight Hydrogen peroxide may also work.
Cleaning the surface may not get rid of it, and only hide the problem to have to deal with later at a much higher cost.

Read the sources I have listed and inform your self about what you are dealing with!

You need to make sure your safety is always #1 when doing ANY black mold removal, the right thing to do is call a certified mold professional to come test the mold in order to make sure what kind of black mold it is if it’s toxic mold you will need to suit up and use a full face respirator and gloves.

When people do a DIY mold removal job they always find out wayyy to late that they should have taken the right measurements before they started the job, Toxic mold can cause VERY serious health issues that can last for months and years.

    Your a pro! BE SAFE!

i suffered brain damage from toxic mold. YOU MUST GET A PROFESSIONAL TO COME IN AND TEST IT FOR THE TOXIC STUFF. If its (stachybotrys) toxic mold i would tell you now that its a state of emergency in that home and must be evacuated with extreme prejudice. you dont want my life and you dont want to give someone else brain damage. there are no strong enough words to tell you how dangerous this stuff is.
