Can i sue my place of work if they knowingly make me work in a mold infested room?
Heath Durrett asked:
I was informed that when we moved to a new location that there was mold 1/4 the way up the walls but it was just scaped off and painted over. Everytime it rains, water leaks into not only my office but 4 other offices. Im sure it has been doing this for years! I am very nervous of what could happen to my health if i continue to work in this Environment. As i type this, it smells very bad and i cant take it anymore.

You don’t really have standing to sue, because you have no damages. You can possibly seek an injuction, which would force them to remedy the situation, if you could adequately demonstrate the potential health risks of working in the environment.
Your best bet is to contact OSHA or you state health department. They will usually investigate the situation and get an environmental report done if necessary.
