usually when you have a metallic taste in your mouth it’s due to a brain injury. we all have a protective sack around our brain that keeps in our brain fluids…if ever this tears then you will have a metallic taste in your mouth, and even a liquid that will come out of your nose. have you been in any situation where your head was injures? maybe you played a sport and got hit, or a car crash? i would seek medical help asap, this can be life threatening.
