I read all over the internet that high concentration Ozone shock treatment can be used to kill mold, however I also read other sites that say this is a myth and cannot really kill molds.

I think that Ozone is rather VERY toxic to all plant life including mold but I’m not sure.

Please reply, I have a mold infested basement and I want to give it the shock treatment.

Ok, so last night, on the frame of the door and window on the house, we saw these two dark red, maybe a little brown, powdery, bubble type things growing. Thinking it might be mold, we didn’t touch it, but instead poked it with a stick. Of course, a ton of powdery things came out (we are thinking spores). We immediately cleaned it off with bleach water, and are keeping an eye on it. We think it’s mold, but can’t be sure. The front of the house sees sunlight half the day, so I’m not sure how mold could even grow there. If it is mold, what types are red, and is it toxic? Thanks!
