I even find the encroaching highrises a bit scary…looks just like they are marching in to destroy this place….hmmm that’s pretty fitting…and sad.

Yes, I know the feeling. Luckily I have a mosquito net, and condensation is not a problem in the summer. This winter has been quite warm so only a few days I’ve had to keep everything shut tight.

i cant keep a window open 90% of the year

Only if you disturb it by brushing or wiping it. Black mold is the most unhealthy. Grey mold on the other hand is ‘ok’ but must be tended to. Condensation is the main cause of mold in Korean homes, due to poor insulation. Keeping a window open will help to prevent any mold buildups ^^

I think the mold is dangerous only when it’s damp (which would be often in the winter). In the warmer months it doesn’t give off any spores.
