If you have mold alergies or small children, black mold could be dangerous. Health risks are increased during a mold removal or cleaning project due to the high levels of mold spores and dust that become airborne when mold is disturbed. People with mold allergies, asthma and similar conditions should not clean up large areas of mold. Depending upon how bad the mold is, you might need to seek the advice of your state’s health department.

You should not use bleach unless the mold is a result of sewage leak. Use a general household cleaner, scraping the mold if it is thick (mask, gloves , and bag it!). After it is dry, vacuum thoroughly (preferably with a hepa-filtered vac). Then repaint or refinish. Most important, though, is to deal with the moisture problem FIRST before mold removal.

Depends on the surface, concrete it works well with.you can check with deck restorers and concrete finishers for products that are intended for other surfaces.
