Help on Black mold anyone know the laws or can help?

I have been in my two bedroom apt for 8 months I just found out that there is black mold in the ceiling . since moving here my family has had health problems(headaches respiratory problems ) My littlest son have Asama and this has made it worse. I just found out that I had this black most today.I know that it is in th ceiling and that they would have to take out the drywall.But all the apt did was put bleach on it.Dose anyone know what I can do to get my family out of the situation fast.Anyone know the florida laws on black mold?

Other than cleaning it regularly the only other thing to do is move.

bleach will kill the mold but wont always remove the stain. the only thing you can do is after they “kill” it then use a product called “kilz” to paint over it to seal and then repaint if needed. usually the kilz is close enough to ceiling color that it will look just fine. find it in a spray can at the hardware store.

As to how to get rid of it its really a go all out kind of thing to get deal with it right. All the Drywall has to be removed and replaced. Black mold on the ceiling usually means there is a leaky pipe. Usually a bathtub drain from above.
I owned an apartment building and some of the kids lived there their whole life. Most had asthma and as soon as they moved out the Asthma stopped. So I spend a lot of time and money going thru all 20 units fixing the pipes and replacing the walls and shower surrounds and other things too. Now there is a new type of drywall that uses fiberglass instead of paper (what the mold lives on)

hi i live in u.k so don’t know nothing about the laws but as for the mould there are only two conclusions i can think where this is coming from.
1. You have a leak coming from a pipe that is causing the plaster board (ceiling) to become damp and cause the mould
or
2. There is a lack of circulated air within the room which causes condensation which also causes black mould. Once done make sure you open a window now and then to stop this occuring.
Answer: if it is a leak you will have to cut the section of the ceiling out and renew with some dry or if it is condensation just simply wash it of with a damp cloth, wait to dry then paint over with oil based paint.
