How can I fix up my Baseball Glove, from unproper storage?

Beerhero asked:

My parents moved out a year ago and took my glove with them. Upon finding it, it had some slight green and black mold gunk in the pocket. I wiped it out and such, is there any more I can do or anything on it I should inspect?
thank you

That stinks! Try to get the mold off with a household cleaner then coat it with glove oil. The glove oil will help re-hydrate the leather after using the solvent. Recoat for a few days.

If this doesn’t do the trick, pamper yourself and just buy a new one! All things happen for a reason!

    Good luck!

That’s pretty nasty. Unless it’s an A2000 i’d donate it to good will.
