How can I tell if I have black mold?

yeah im pretty sure that when its black its called black mold. But to be on the safe side i would have a professional look at it, and recommend them taking it off. Having black mold in a house for a long time can make you really sick.

Look for black dots around you base boards, behind dressers, and furniture. Also remove a drawer from you dresser turn it over and see if any is there.do you have a musty odor around the house? Some causes could be no fan in the bathroom or it’s not vented outside or your dryer is not vented to the outside that’s what happened to us. Once we vented the dryer and cleaned the mold with a mild bleach an water solution we had no more problems.
