Bathroom vanity doors have about four layers of paint. My girlfriend and I started to scrape the doors, when we came across some black crayon underneath the layers of paint. What can it be, Mold?

With mold, you can’t be too careful. *Always* request a photo ID.

It could be mold – I live in Florida where we have terrible mold problems. If you have it on the doors, you could have it other places as well, and it is a health hazard.

Since I’m not an expert, try this website to see if can help you.

how long have you lived there? it doesn’t take mold long to grow through paint, take a rag with bleach and wipe it, if it disappears it’s mold and should be dealt with, zinzeer makes a good product in a spray bottle now that will kill the mold in a flash, easy and cost around $5, good luck
