Easiest solution is to spray Clorox Cleanup. That is the best stuff. You won't even have to scrub.

The visible mold and mildew can be removed with a cleaner and a scrub brush. Use simple green as it is bio friendly. To kill the mold spores I know only one treatment that works. Use a mildewcide such as Jomax mixed with bleach. Bleach by itself only makes it white for awhile. Mold is hard to kill, grows on anything, and is constantly in the air. All it needs to grow is a moisture source. If the area is shaded see if you can cut foliage away to allow sunlight to bath the area. The sunlight won't kill the mold, but it might dry up the area. Good luck!

I'm thinking a mild bleach solution and some scrubbing might do the job. Just be sure to rinse the bleach solution off when you're done or the bricks might discolor.
