The easiest way is to buy some bread that does not have mold inhibitors added to the dough. Try a bakery that uses organic methods. Cut a slice of the bread and place it in a plastic bag or container that can keep the humidity high. A little dust from the top of the refrigerator may be used as an inoculum. There should be abundant molds appearing in a few days. Look for sporangia that look dark gray or black lollipops.
An alternative source of Zygomycota species is some horse droppings placed in a moist chamber and kept warm and dark for about a week. Zygomycota hyphae are quite large and thread-like.
