Magic Mouse asked:

Especially, in the lower zones like Malabon, are wood framed homes at high risk? The home I am worried about was flooded 2 or 3 times just this year alone (about 10cm deep in the house). Is this black mold a common health threat there? What are the symptoms of being exposed to the spores continuosly in high amounts?

No. Diseases such as cholera, typhoid fever, dengue and amoebiasis are among the chronic health problems especially during rainy season. Lots of children die also of pneumonia and other diseases resulting from inclement wheather. Leptospirosis, a disease which is caused by the mixing of rat urine/feces to the flood and a person who is wounded gets his wounds immersed in that flood, is also among the serious problems in that area. Black molds aren’t much of a big deal as that I have aforementioned.
