black mold
Renee H asked:

We decided to replace the sink in our bathroom, when we removed the sink from the cabinet, which we wanted to keep we found a small area of black mold in the seam of the sink and cabinet. How is the best way to remove it. About the size of a nickel. This is the only spot we found.

Use a little dilute bleach in a spray bottle.
You can buy it at Home Depot cleaning supplies.

Besides bleach, I have used Tri Sodium Phosphate, TSP. It kills the mold and cleans up the stain. I haven’t had any problem with it coming back later either once I eliminated the moisture source.
