Is this Red Mold?

Ok so I live in a top floor apartment. My landlord took out our exhaust fan in our shower because it needed a new motor or something…but this was two months ago and she has yet to fix it. Now there seems to be black mold all over our ceiling and today I see water droplets all over the ceiling with like red drops inside of it..it’s really weird..it’s this a mold or fungus? Should I be worried and nag the landlord even more?

you need to stop being psycho about mold.

First of all, mold is rare in its entirety. What people usually see is Mildew, then they freak out because of the mold craze.

What you are seeing sounds like rusty water to me. Probably rust on the pipes above and when the condensation gets on the pipes and drips, it will be RED in color.

Leave your landlord alone, She is aware of everything and she will fix it.

Yes it is, and yes you should. Something up there is leaking and frankly I’m surprised that your landlord is being so lax.

You could try spraying the area up there with bleach to kill the mold and red stuff. But not before you take pictures and show them to the local housing authority.

    Good luck.
