I came back to my room after a weekend away i had left the air conditioner on. there was a strong smell when i walked in, not a disgusting one, but a bad one. It seemed to be coming from the air conditioner. I noticed this black mold on the front of the air conditioner that smeared like marker when wiped. I then found it covering everything in my room, just little black specs on everything. i shut off the ac, what should i do? What can i use to kill it? does everything need to be washed? What about clothes and sheets? thank you for any advice
should i use an air purifier or will that collect mold too?

I accidentally left a pair of white gauchos in a wet bag overnite and they have some mold spots on them now. Is there a way to get it out or are my pants ruined?

there’s been a mold problem in our shower for years. it’s been getting really bad lately though, so i decided to take down the wall paper. i got quite a bit of wallpaper down. this exposed more mold. i scrubbed with a wet wash cloth and my bare hands. my parents didnt bother to mention that there are health risks involved with black mold and that i would contaminate my clothes and anything else i touched.

what do i do now?
